I offer support for individuals, couples and families facing life challenges that impact their functioning in the world, relationship satisfaction, health and inner peace. I have a background in traditional mental health services and am also a long-time student of meditation and nondual understanding. All spiritual and religious orientations are welcome here, as I support each person in finding their own way along their unique personal path.
Areas of focus include:
- General adult individual and couple therapy
- Living with the challenges of medical illness
- Mind/body medicine: guided imagery, mindfulness meditation, hypnotherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
- Veterans reintegration and support through the VA's Patient-Centered Community Care (PC3) and Veterans Choice programs and the Returning Veterans Project
- Neurotherapy: cranial electrotherapy stimulation (CES) using the Alpha-Stim device to reduce anxiety and PTSD symptoms.
I periodically offer workshops and retreat programs for couples focusing on living with the impact of illness, communication, and interpersonal caring skills. Learn about the Touch, Caring and Cancer program here and see the book Partners in Healing here.

Description of services. Sessions usually last 50 minutes. After an initial period of exploration and assessment, our work together may employ principles from a wide range of approaches to support your goals and interests.
Our work is also informed by my experience directing leading-edge research sponsored by the National Institutes of Health through Collinge and Associates, Inc., to develop new ways of helping people live with the challenges of stress, trauma and illness. See our research page for descriptions of projects completed or currently under way, for individuals and couples dealing with cancer, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and military post-deployment reintegration.
